What's your move here without any reads and why? I'll post results after I get some feedback. Just wanna know what the right move is here. Wasn't real sure with stack sizes whether to 3bet with intent of shoving flop to try to gain value out of hands that we beat or to just shove. This might be a leak in my game so if there is an obvious answer here considering stack sizes please let me know.
  2. I honestly think I just jam here. If you re raise it looks super strong and you're not getting better to fold but rarely getting worse to re ship you. I think just jamming may be perceived as weaker and get some hero calls.
  3. I agree with the above.

Reraising will just end up committing you. Are you going to reraise to 7500 and then fold when he reraises? At that point, you'd have 8000 chips and the pot would have 16000+ so you'd have to call with far weaker hands than TT. If you just put it all in, you end up in the same spot (all chips in the middle) but add in the bonus of actually winning without a showdown.

I know I'd rather make AK fold than have them call, but if AK is going to call, I want it to be all in before the flop. No need to worry about overcards or being outplayed, or having your opponent save his extra 8000 chips when he misses.
  4. Yeah, I honestly don't think I've been realizing the importance of antes late in a tournament and how much of your stack they account for each orbit. Now that I look at this spot it's clearly a shove. I ended up making it about 7200 with the intention of shoving on any flop, and Squall ended up just calling pre with QJcc and hit a J on the flop and called my all in. Looking back on it this was an obvious shove as has been suggested. I think shoving here gets Squall to fold, and if not then I'm likely flipping with two overs. I really need to focus on playing earlier in the day when I'm not so tired clearly. Thanks for the help so far. I definitely will be posting some more HH's throughout the month as I'm really trying to tighten up my game in MTT's. Been having trouble closing out my deep runs.
