This is seriously something that is out of control. I have 4 players at my table stalling including one who has an average stack??? We just entered the 5k 10k level and for humors sake i counted the number of hands we played during 4k 8k. In the 15 minutes of that level we played exactly 8 hands. Dont people understand that stalling seriously diminishes their and everyone elses chances of winning the tournament?
-
I agree.....I can understand stalling at times, but it does get wayyyy outta hand.
-
for some people that play low limits just getting in the money is a big payday and every pay raise they get makes it even bigger. so for someone that got a seat for ten bucks or less stalling for more money is a big deal to them.
-
When people have 400 dollars to their name, and the next increase goes from 460 to 620, that is life changing to them.

stalling in sngs= +ev
stalling in mtts= -ev -
They spend 5 bucks...satelite in, and turn that 5 bucks into 400 bucks, and stall for another 200 bucks...
Would I do it...no, but I see why some people do. -
nothing you can do about it get over it
