I checked-raised flop to catch his c-bet in case he has overcards. Of course I'm folding to the raise after my CR. I don't understand his flop call and have no idea what to do on the turn...
  2. He probably has a bigger pair than you and knows it's good, that's why he bets so small on the turn. Probably doesnt wanna get it in on the flop incase u have a set but knows his queens are good on the turn and wants to milk a smaller pair or a 78s type hand...

ok, missed the villains stack... so what i wrote would apply if he started the hand with 4,5k or more and in that scenario you really shouldnt C/R the flop unless your gonna put it in on future streets, i'm getting kind of tired of saying this and hearing it from other people here on P5's but have a reason for your bet, on the flop: does he call with a worse hand? does he fold a better hand?

There are a few worse hands he calls with but he never folds a better hand so your raise is just pointless, this applies if villain has 4,5k or more preflop.

As for the actual hand you have to decide preflop how you're gonna play this hand, both players in this pot are about 20bb's or less so shipping it preflop is not out of the question. If u dont think that's optimal then you have to get it in on this flop. Villain has already put in a lot of his stack before you C/R so i'd prefer just blasting it in his face so you dont have face these weird spots on the turn.

    Hope this helps :)
