  1. NOT TRYING TO SELF PROMOTE.... I JUST WANT TO MAKE EVERYONE AWARE OF THESE.... THEY ARE AN AWESOME VALUE!! I really haven't found anything better to spend my FPPs on.

    Check these out:

It costs 1500 Frequent Player Points to play in a 9 person-SNG format on stars (under "Satellites")... i've won 2 of them now and have $430 Tournament dollars!! That's so effing cool!! Now, what should I play???? The Big Sunday tournament, or nineteen different $22 180 man SNGs?? Haha. The cool thing is you can use the T dollars for any tournament!

    I'm so fired up!!
  2. 1500 FPP also = $300 in rake, doh. I like to remind myself every once and a while when im wearing my stars T-shirt that ti cost me 100$.

  3. No, 13500 FPPs = T$215.

Just because you won two (out of two?) doesn't mean your equity in those STTs for the T$ is actually that high. It's actually much lower, you just haven't run into variance yet... no offense intended. While you might be +EV against that competition, it's not that easy.

  4. lol -- good point!

    buuuuuUUUUUT........ I'M STILL FIRED UP!

  5. I stand corrected sir... 13,500 FPPs = $215 T dollars.... in my case, though, it's 3,000 FPP = $430 T dollars. And you know what? I'm not gonna give variance a chance to eff me!! I hereby declare i'm not playing them anymore... besides, i'm out of FPPs now :)

  7. You're right, that is one way to avoid variance.
