Stars 200 seat M.E. qualifier scheduled for Father's Day

    Why would pokerstars have this mega qualifier on Father's Day. For christ sakes don't they realize that some of us do have families ourselves and/or aging parents that makes playing in this qualifier impossible. The one tournament that I truly look forward to each year and they screw it up by having it land on Father's Day. Pfffffff.

    it is the last sunday that gives the people who qualify sufficient time to get arrangements together for the trip. Fathers Day is just an arbitrarily selected day that can be celebrated at any time. You shouldn't need this specific day to show your father, or fathers in general, the respect, appreciation, and honor that they deserve.

    use condoms, then fathers day is a non-issue.. but i agree its a bad day for it, but it has to be on a sunday or else it wont get as many people entering. Although it is Father's Day, expect to see the same number of entrants regardless, since it is such a big opportunity for most people.. sucks, but try celebrating saturday?

    ya, mad annoying. lol@celebrate another sunday replies, im sure peoples dads and entire families would understand rescheduling the nationally accepted date of fathers day just so one of us can play an internet poker tournament. BUT DAD I AM SACRIFICING LIKE 2K IN EQUITY!!!!

    I'm going out of town tomorrow to visit my dad 3 days, gonna play golf with him... I'll be playing the 200-seat event.
