  1. Only 2nd hand at the table so no reads on anyone. Is this a good spot to find a fold this early on? I feel like his range is TT+ AK+ and maybe AQ trying iso. thoughts?

  2. Fold, so early, so much play left for essentially a coin flip.

he rarely has TT, so it's not much of an edge for you.

additionally you have the UTG raiser to worry about, and the first flatter.
  3. tbh I rejam JJ+ and AK here everytime, your hand is underrepped
  4. easy fold imo... to early, no information and you would have to spend more money on later streets to find out where you are....
  5. I fold here...you have no chips invested, too early to reshove JJ here IMO
  6. I also thought about 3betting the Jacks preflop but since its early and kinda deep I think flatting is more optimal since i can play a udnerepped hand in pos and not turn it into a bluff and have to fold after investing alot

So, with 90 chips invested, your going to flat 1070 (roughly 30% of your stack) and villian has 3105 behind and you have 1975 behind now.... Depending on the flop what do you do? A hits then what? Fold? Low cards come, he shoves, then what? He may have an over pair... Either way your playing for your tournament life at 15/30 blind levels... Can you win the tournament now? Fold... everytime in this spot with no information on villian... gg

Would be interested to see the rest of the hand....
  10. Nobody thinks field size matters?

$12.5k GTD for a $22 buy-in is a small field at stars. Fold the JJ because you only have about a thousand players to beat.

In the Daily Forty Grand, u probably have 5,000 or more players to beat, so get em in.

In a close call, you need something to make the decsion.

Also, how big is your bankroll? If less than $2,200, you don't belong in that tourney so wait for aces and hope to cash it for $40 bucks because you need it!!!!

My new pokers friends here at Pocket Fives is going to love my newest perl here...lol. :)))) What do you think liquidsword??????

Was hoping one of you ranked players would comment on my reply. Would you take field size into consideration? In a tourney with a few thousand players, would you play that more agressively than a tourney like this where the guarantee equals 625 players?
