I would like some input on what is the correct play in this spot... Thanks guys.
  2. Fold, you're hoping for a coinflip at best.

*edit* woops didn't see ur question marks, shove after the initial raise.
  3. 3 bet all in or 3 bet/call shove imo.
  4. Er well if im reading this right im assuming you flatted the first raise?

Okay, fold to the second raise, lol. As ^ said, you're not gonna be seeing worse than JJ here a lot, ton of his range is QQ+, specifically the big bads, and AK at best.

It's just one of those shitty spots that comes up in mtt's :-(
  5. plz shove first time action is to you.

  6. all ur chips should be allin after the raise to 6k

with ur 22BB stack, i would definitley 3bet shove/make funky 3bet commiting myself to the hand. I personally would rather fold than flat call like u did, but i still shove with your stack. By the looks of it u obv ran into a bigger pair which you can write off as just bad luck. Ur not deep enough to get away from this hand. in fact, folding is even better than flat calling, but i would never fold this spot given the dry details of the hand. You haven't told us how the tbl has been thus far as well. Generally loose or tight tbl? How has UTG+1 player been playing?..he's raising 3x with a 16bb stack... is this standard for him? does he vary his raises?..has he been tight(er), or have u seen some push/fold poker from him? These are important details when making ur decision. What happens after is to a large degree outside of ur control.

  8. It seems everyone has weighed in that moving my stack after the 6k raise is the play i need to make. I was set on moving in with this hand as the shorter stack didn't really need a hand better than my Jacks to move in. I guess i'll show you guys what the following action was.

    Hint:Thank you shitty wireless connection.

I really wasnt sure whether a flat call and then fold to what was coming behind me(uknown at time)or to move in and lets the cards fall where they may.. Thanks for the input guys. Guess this is one of those sh*tty spots ::((

  9. sick hand only because bukowski is so good do i fold here. he isn't raising like AJ there so you're almost never a 70/30, but more like 50/50 at best.
  10. fwiw, you might have won this hand if u were connected and 3bet corralie...theres a small-decent chance bukowski folds AK here since hes commited for 0 chips and has to 4bet shove in a spot he knows is marginal (assuming u've been playing tight which u prob were )

oh wait a minute... i forgot .. no one folds AK preflop online...nevermind

if you are going to flat call it should be to induce action, not to try to get away from the hand. Flatting with the intention of folding to action behind you is badbadbadbadbad unless the action behind you starts going insane.

  12. I didn't mean to make the wrong impression with that statement. That is why i put (unknown at the time) I didnt mean i would call the raise to see if i can get in for 6k and fold if any1 put in more heat.(didnt intend to fold unless it got crazy like you said) I should have put something more along the lines of what you said... if action goes insane then fold after the flat call. Wouldn't that be "second hand low?" ie. flat calling a raise to induce action behind you...? Old school terminology maybe, but standard play now that i use depending on how active the players behind me have been. But i agree with you threeven, didn't mean to leave info that can get misconstrued. Im not that BADBADBAD haha. Thanksfor the input guys.
