    I've been dealing with this BS for three days. My network status shows 100%
    connection with everything except "Stars" and "Manx telecom". Sent the log
    file report yesterday and got the generic Al Gore response on how the internet
    works.

    Still having the same issues this morning, email Stars and was told that the lost
    pings were located near my pc. Of course it is, that's why the IP address with all
    the lost pings is located in Southeast Asia,,,,,,,and I live in Missouri.

    I've been having problems ever since the server reset. I have a 10mbps cable connection through charter internet. I went through the same song and dance with stars. My plan was to get error reports from other connections and ISPs to send to them to show them that it my connection is not to blame. The problem is, when I went to a friends place, stars worked perfectly on AT&T Uverse.

    I have a tech coming today from Charter who probably knows next to nothing about computers/networks. After he tests my equipment and tells me its all working perfectly and he has no idea whats wrong I'm going to find out where I need to send these stars network logs so they can either fix their routing problems or lose my business.

    I still think that something happened during stars server reset that they either don't want to admit to us, or don't want to admit to themselves. I was playing perfectly the night of, and the first thing I did on my system the next day was play, and it didn't work. I'll update with info as I get it.

    fwiw I've been connecting perfectly to tilt but i just logged into UB and I'm dropping packets all over the place and losing connection there as well.

    To everyone that was having problems, it looks like it was my equipment. The Charter tech replaced the line into the house and everything is working fine now across all sites. Kind of strange that I start having problems the exact same day as a number of other ppl and that it all started on the day that stars did a server restart. I would advise anyone who has been having trouble to get a tech from your ISP to your house asap.
