Stars Cashout Policy Borders On Ridiculous!!???

    WTF?! I haven't posted on this site in a long time. I've been playing strictly cash for a long time now... I need to cash out my entire stars account for an upcoming vacation. However, when I go to the Cashier, they won't let me withdraw all my money in the form of ONE check. How lame is this?

    Stars says it has to pay some of the money back to an epassporte account which I used many MANY months ago. Some to a VISA card and the rest can be in a check!

    Come on Stars, this is ridiculous. I am a Silver Star member and you make a ton of rake off of me.... where's the customer service? I want ONE FUCKING CHECK!!!

    email support and ask nicely if they will send you one single check and they most likely will... they did for me.

    How is this ridiculous,they always credit back your last deposits methods first..they are not keeping your money they are crediting it all back and sending a check....wheres the problem?

    Its right in their terms. Any cashouts will first be credited back to the method that was used to deposit. After that you can request cashouts using any method you would like.

    Okay this actually got my thinking because i never made a depoist. If/when i get to the point where i start making enough to withdraw money... how would I go about it seeing that i never made a deposit to begin with?

    They are going to send me a check, but apparently they need to block my deposit options (both Visa and epassporte) in order to send the check. I guess this is for security reasons. I don't really understand why, but oh well, they are going to send me the check. I guess I'll have to find a new way to deposit in the future.

    One method of getting real $$ withjout depositing is via inter-account transfer....This can occur when selling play money chips for real cash which is how I started.

    Annette_15 never deposited online and I think she has done ok. stars will cash out based on how you deposited but a simple email request should be ok as they did it for me.

    I've never knew people did that. I just kept playing the freerolls.. not hubbles, those are pointless IMO, mainly the PPA and the $500 USA when PS has them.... I got up a little before when my friend wanted me to play the Dime tourny with him. I cashed sent the dime then played those .10 .25 tournaments til i had around $3-4 then hit the cash and lost it lol.

    When I tranfered money from UB to Absolute I asked them that very question. They told me having never made a deposit I would have to make some kind of deposit to withdraw. period! tranfers do not constitute a deposit.

    The security reason is simple.

    Suppose someone hacks your account, changes your email and address and requests a cashout of your entire balance. Hacker then gets a check.

    Now same thing except stars automatically wants to cash back to the original deposit method up to the amount of the deposit. If you were a normal losing player, when Hacker attempts the cash out, you wind up with your money back in your epassporte account.

    The requirement to make a deposit before withdrawing is a good thing. It links your financial institution to your poker account.

    just tell them to cancel your payment accounts and then the check method will become default. stars will do pretty much anything for you if you ask them nicely and its a legitimate request

    I've never deposited on stars, and whenever I have cashed out, I have just requested a check. They all came very fast.

    Does PS do withdraw by Western Union? Also has anyone ever tried the bank wire option? How long did it take? Is it quicker than a physical check?

    Thats good too know... well hopefully all goes well with my BR system i set up. and i get enough to hopefully be able to make it worth cashing out. If anything goes awol sounds like PS will be right there to contact for trooubleshooting. thx for all the info.

    i'm only a bronze star, and i've paid $205.00 over 16K hands...

    so i'm guess its not a lot when comparing it to high stakes players, but i'm sure its still a decent amount.
