Hi everyone. I don't play on Poker stars that much, but I decided that I wanted to take a shot at grinding out some of the steps to possibly get to London next week. I've never made it past step 3 before, so imagine my surprise when I pulled off a (personal) miracle in them and find myself with a Step 6 ticket.
Having never been there before, does anyone have any advice on how to play it? From steps 3-5, and especially when it became non-turbo at step 4, everyone at the table has appeared to be incredibly patient, carefully picking their spots and playing a little scared. I'm worried that if it comes down to it, we're gonna be sitting on a long and tedious bubble with people letting stacks dwindle as they hope to just bubble into 3rd place for the payday (certaintly one I wouldn't mind as a low level grinder, but the trip is the goal here).
So does anyone have any advice or insight as to how they usually play? -
Try and find a game with none of the regs have entered ie. stevie444, DRY, zangbezan, jorge95 I dont know how hard this will be but I wouldnt wanna go up against these guys if possible.

Good luck with this. Step 6 is incredibly hard with the above mentioned regulars playing in most step 6's. Try your best to find a game without them in. I've been in step 6 only once before and it was very hard. Ended up 2 from the seat. I usually bow out at step 4 now and take the $215 tourney ticket.

i have only played 1 Step 6 SNG, and i ended up winning. all i did was try to make the best choice in each hand according to SNG theory. the regs may try to put u to a big test bc they will know u dont normally play that high, and they think u might make a big fold. im not saying they will constantly be trying to bluff u or anything. gl if u play.

if jorj95 is regged just dont play, he cant lose.
