    EDIT 2 - stars has listened and will be running this event tonight at 8:00 PM EST - but will cancel if they don't get 440 entries - so let's show some support to Stars for listening and fill this event tonight.

    Tell me that Stars would have no problem filling these things up several times a day:

    $25+2 Triple Shoot-out for 1 WSOP seat - 8 seaters
    8x8x8 = 512 entries
    Total prize fund = $12,800

    $11,000 package for first
    $900 for second
    $150 for third-eighth

    Put it at the top of the lobby like the $2.20 TSO for Sunday Million events. Make it turbo or not - who cares. They would fill these things up with donkeys (like myself) all day long looking to get into the WSOP Main Event for only $27.

    thats is an absolutley fantastic idea ... definitley email them about that 1... i just did..lets get this tourney pushed through so i can loose all my money in a fast and effieicient way

    No need to worry about credit for your idea, Rob... some of us read PocketFives all the time. ;)

    As for your suggestion, we happen to agree that such a tournament could very well make a fine addition to our WSOP lineup... in fact we've been discussing putting a few Triple Shootouts into the schedule for a while now.

    I've just put one out for tonight at 20:00 (as a scheduled MTT). It's $25+$2 and 8-max per table. Good luck to all, and thanks as always for the fine discussion we read here every day. We absolutely depend upon feedback from our players, and PocketFives is a great source of information.

    This is a great idea! Spread the word so this one fills up and encourages stars to make it a regular part of their lineup.

    not sure if its just me but i think a triple shootout with 6 people and 50$ buy in would be alot sweeter

    Bryan-

    id like to see the triple shootouts become a regular thing but how about the standard 15 min blind levels? yeah it would take longer but id like to have a bit more play in the game.

    FORGET IT guys, NO CHANCE 440 PLAYERS.....its too early FOR THAT INTO THE QUALIFYING TIME.
    LATER TOWARDS THE END OF QUALIFYING , THEY WILL FILL UP......YOU CAN FORGET IT TONIGHT...you MIGHT GET 200 IF YOUR LUCKY....

    207 with 4 minutes left - well - it was a good try.
