Maybe a repost, posted on 2+2 from stars mod,
Here are the details of tomorrow's client update:
New Game – Mixed Hold’em / Omaha (aka Round of Each / HA) – This game is part of the 2009 World Championship of Online Poker schedule and can be found in the ‘Other Games’ > ‘Mixed Games’ > ‘PLH/PLO’ lobby.
Synchronised Tournament Breaks – Tournaments which are synchronised will go on break at 55 minutes past each hour. For example, a tournament that begins at 16:30 will go on break at 16:55, 17:55, 18:55 and so on.
Note that no breaks will be skipped on PokerStars. So a tourney that starts at 16:50 will still go on break at 16:55, if that tournament is synchronised.
If a tournament is a rebuy tournament, there will be an extra short break at the end of the rebuy period to allow for add-ons to be made.
Tournaments that use Synchronised Breaks are marked in two ways. First, if the tournament is selected in the main lobby, the side information panel will show ‘The tournament goes on break at 55 minutes past the hour’. Secondly, the ‘Breaks’ area of the ‘Tournament Info’ window will also show this information.
Right now, this should be considered a beta feature. Only a small number of tournaments will be synchronised at first. We will gradually add more over time, assuming there are no problems.
Let me have your feedback on this feature please, as we want to make it work as well as possible and there is still time to make tweaks.
Further Improvements to Extended Registration – The length of extended registration is now shown in the ‘Tournament Info’ dialog, and we’ve squashed a few rare bugs with the algorithm.
Private Tournaments for Smaller Stakes – We’ve added the ability to create private tournaments at the $1.10 and $3.30 levels. The privilege to create private tournaments on PokerStars is available to most players who have earned 2000 or more FPP over the lifetime of their account. If you believe you qualify for the privilege, contact support@pokerstars.com for more information.
We also fixed a long-standing bug involving satellites. Now, if you win a satellite tournament but the target event has already started, you'll be entered into the target if extended registration is still open. Otherwise, you'll be treated like a repeat winner, and automatically credited with either T-Money, W$, or a ticket depending on the tourney.
One more thing. Later this month we will be opening a private beta for players interested in testing our upcoming multi-currency features. If you're interested, write to me at pokermanager@pokerstars.com. You must speak English and be willing to deposit and play games in Euro.

I think they are almost as good as what we are planning (eventually - not this release).
Enjoy,
Alex
PS. If you wish to correct my spelling of 'synchronised', please go DIAGF first.
PPS. One last warning - this update may break your HUD. Check for an update for your third-party tools before tomorrow!
