I have never played a 10k but I would think with a well above average chipstack the right idea would be to figure out how everyone is playing. Once you have done that I would pick a few of the weak/er spots at the table and pick on them. At the same time tryin to keep the pot in the 12-15 bb area. You have alot of play in that stack, I would be tryin to win and play small pots. glglgl

Any interesting hands from day 1?

A few. Here is one from round 2. I was on the button with about $30K. Folded to me. I had Ad10d. Raised to $600 (blinds were 100/200). SB (Stig Rasmussan) raised to $2,400. Raise seemed odd to me. I think he was still steamed from an earlier hand. I called. Flop came As10c3s. He bet $1,200. I raised to $4,200. He goes allin. I thought for a bit. He could have had AA, but I doubted it. I put him on AK or AQ. I call. He shows 2s4s for straight flush draw (bad read). Bricks turn and river and I move up to over $50K knocking out a very tough player.

Another one came in the last 10 minutes of the night. I was chip leader at the table with about $60K. Older guy to my right had about 50K. Action folds around to him on the button. He raised to $1,200. I look down at AsQs. I want to see if he was just stealing so I raise to $3,600. He calls. Flop comes AcQh2h. I bet $4000. He raises to $10,000. I stop and think. If he had AA pre-flop I guess he could have flat called in position, but the way he had played all day, I did not think so. He also could have had QQ in which case I was dead. I decide to make the move and push allin. He instacalls and scares the bejeezus out of me. He shows AhKh for top pair and nut flush draw. A 6s comes on the turn and an Ad on the rive to fill me up. Put me up over $110K. Finished the night with JJ on the last hand to pick up a couple more $k.
