yea i will take my apology now Adam and the rest of you who all bashed me for saying this could happen and their could be something like this going on. If you search there was a post I did around summer of 2006 stating all of this and no one even looked at it as a possibilty especially Adam who said I was making it all up and I was a moron basically. Looks like I was correct.

So classyploppy,
You made a post specifically about how a person on the inside of a poker room would log into a root account and share hole cards with a second player who was playing in a tournament?
If you did not make such an exact claim, no one owes you anything.
This isolated incident, by no means, makes all poker sites guilty of the same crime.
In all businesses there are corrupt employees, it is a reality that we have to accept.
You have, in your post demanding an apology, given no reason for needing one other than "on-line poker is rigged type of mantra."
I say to you, prove you deserve an apology. Dig up your post and link to it, lets see specifically what you said about on-line poker.
There was recently an article that explained how a high stakes game in AC, NJ was busted because of cheating. Does this IYO make all live poker rigged? I mean if they can manage to cheat in a big Atlantic City casino, why aren't they doing it everywhere? -
No one owns anyone an apology, 99.9% of "online poker is rigged" comments is due to people actually thinking that runner runner for a bad bead is purposely done by a site. Or that poker sites "purposely" deal AA vs KK for action hands for a bigger rake. I will never believe this BS.
What has transpired this week at AP is absolutely 100% different. -
"We're in the process of removing links and promotional materials--most of them are down already. Please be patient while we get this all set."
Great job! Now, not to be impatient but... the link on the main page in the bottom right rectangular box is still there. Hehe -
I never claimed online poker was rigged per say. I said that I suspected that some of these sites could be using shills to cheat some of the online players and that there was software out there that could expose whole cards of other players. I never in fact said it was true or untrue either, but that I thought it could be going on. www.pokerconduct.net

Good Reaction P5's ! The farther you can dis-associate yourself (us) from AP the better.

I just heard about this site from another person that I play freeroll tournaments with here in El Paso. At first I was sceptical on the news of a poker site allowing cheating. Then I read the hand histories and it is as plain as day. I am sorry to see this behavior. It seriously puts a black cloud on online poker and ammunition to those that would love to shut down these sites. As a community I believe that we can regulate this behavior and I hope that there will be better cooperation from all sites to monitior and curb this behavior. Thank you all for your work on this subject if it was not for all of your efforts this story would of been swept under the rug never to see the light if day.

Wow - how shady is this. Scott Tom isn't the CEO of AP, he's the CEO of the company that owns AP and UB. I for one know he's still involved with the company business of BOTH sites.
Keep in mind, the people that own this site are 20-somethings, who are rich, living in a country with no rules (Costa Rica)... I'm just surprised it's taken so long for someone to get caught.
So - how bad is it in AP's ***official*** release that they lie and try to coverup that Scott hasn't been a part of the company.
Wow... -
way to go !

I was not referring to the "poker is rigged" comments. I was referring to this exact type of behavior and/or "shills"
My post got dumped into the bad beat forum after being flamed.
Its ok to not think this happens, but dont flame. Have an intelligent discussion about it.
I used to work in technology, and I can tell you ANYTHING is possible technically. Its all about having the money and time to make it happen.
Im not even naming names, but these posters should not make excuses saying they were only talking about "poker being rigged" cuz thats not the case -
It is possible to take any industry and say that there are unsavory people involved who might be tempted to partake in the activity of cheating.
How about the Savings and Loan industry in the 1980's?
Enron?
There are many others. Do you think that we should start making blanket statements against every industry?
Oh, you said there could be shills. I congradulate you, but I also said it would rain this year back in January... I think that I deserve kudos for that prediction.
One proven incident of insider misdoings is about par for the rest of industry in the world. The thing is, most companies running server/client applications are not supid enough to allow this to happen.
So, as I said, congradulations on your prediction. I disagree that its rampant or for that matter, that the players wouldn't notice if someone came along and started killing high stakes games. -
You are TOTALLY missing the reason for my post. I am in no way patting myself on the back..
I am however Flaming the flamers who said this could NEVER happen. I never said online poker was rigged and thats what everyone keeps referring to.
People should have more of an open mind before calling them idiots and/or worse. -
i want a refund AP.
DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE....... -
Simply the best online community...period. Thanks for all your hard work.

This is sickening. I always strongly suspected that some of the sites are doing that because of many many many many many suspect hands I have seen over the years. There is a way to catch them all if someone comes up with a good interactive website that incorporates hand histories. Careful study and processing of percentages will weed out people and put them on immediate radars. I don't have the computer programming skills so I hope someone comes up with it soon because I just might have to quit online poker for good.

Is there possibly a connection between Absolute and UB and the deposit method of E Wallet Express? Poker stars and Full Tilt does not use E Wallet, ( I believe Bodog did at one time). E Wallet charges a fairly high rate for deposit, but it is instant. One thing I've thought interesting is E Wallet Banking is through the Navahoe System. Just wondering if anyone knows why PS and FT do not use them?

Ridiculous Web Site. Another nut builds a web site. I even read through some to the site reviews and see the tone of suspicion in them. Why don't these people provide some real evidence to back up their claims that online poker is rigged? Why? Because if they searched for this evidence they wouldn't find it and would have to face the fact that they are not any good at poker. Have you ever actually calculated the ratio of bad beats you are dealt compared to hands you have sucked out. I'm sure over a large enough sample it evens out.
I have been on a bad run of cards recently and it has caused me to tilt some. I'm not delusional to think that the site is rigged because i remember other times when I have been dealt ridiculous amounts of great cards and hands and have won plenty of money (More than I lose). It runs in cycles. There is no "Doom Switch". Only the "Doom Switch" in your brain. Change your attitude and you may just change your Fortune. -

Lets remember our past history. when the japanese bombed pearl harbor we took all the japanese looking people here in the united states and put them in concentration camps, after 9/11 we detained numerous arab looking individuals. my point being p5s taking down all the AP advertisements may be an over reaction. AP has allowed p5s to come in and look at their books and sit in as a third party auditor reviews the software. If AP is guilty then they should be banned from allowing online play, but if they are not guilty of anything sites like this should allow them to advertise for free and receive numerous apologies.
We all should be worried about the future of online poker. There have been some very intelligent people writing here. don't you think they could hack into another site? then another? we need to support online poker,I know we all like to jump to conclusions and on the bandwagon when something happens, but just think of the long term possibilities of all sites being shut down because of a scandal. it could very easily happen. -
We all have an opportunity to send a serious message to all online sites that think about cheating. Whether it only 1 person or one occasion whether absolute poker cheated doesn't really matter. This remains an opportunity for every player to send a mesage to all poker sites. We have to ban absolute poker altogether. Sink that ship. NO ONE, BUT NO ONE should player there. If they stay in business it's a message that remains in the back of peoples's minds and anyone i a position to do something like this will see that absolute survived it. ABSOLUTE POKER MUST GO DOWN. And those who were involved must go down as well, HARD! All poker players need to do their part to show that we will not tollerate this garbage.

Ok i know that i'm going to get flamed for saying this but i don't care. This is exactly what happens when you don't have a regulated industry. I know that most of us hate government, but the fact is that if you allow those with the lust for money to run wild, well they will. Look at the economy of the 1920's. it was completely unregulated, and due to the lack of oversite, the crooks took over, because once one company starts cutting corners, the other have to do so in order to keep up with the competition. I welcome regulation while holding my breath from the stink.

Are these accounts MILKMONEY33, and DCARLC legit, or do they belong to the inside AP crew?
Congratulations to MILKMONEY33 and DCARLC on hitting back-to-back Bad Beat Jackpots last weekend worth over $720,000 collectively. -
how does a player raise b4 flop and then call a 3x reraise w/ 9-5 off? how does a player call the flop and turn with 2-2 and a 10-10 /J rainbow on board regardless of the undersized (compared to pot)bets? They are stupid ....right? makes me wonder....and I hate wondering! Look these guys over close this will effect the future of congressional thought process. Good thinking ,keep it up!
