My friend is blind but rates himself as a bit of a poker player. A few months back he asked me to sit with him whilst he played online so that I could tell him the cards. He won and wanted to try it again. He carried on winning with me just sat alongside describing the action but after we did it four or five times I got a bit bored.
So the next time for a joke I told him he'd lost a big pot when the other guy hit his miracle gutshot, although in reality his hand stood up. This got me thinking. So the next time I invented a few more 'unlucky scenarios' where he lost, and now he thinks his bankroll is about $260 where actually it is $2300. Christ, we even played one session where I didnt even turn the computer on.
I was going to keep this up for a couple of weeks and then tell him he had more money than he thought, but he's quite a big guy and I was a bit worried, and now I've just found out he's been sleeping with my sister.
So, my question is: all the NLHE strategy books say that you should rarely steal from the big blind. Is this one occasion where it is legitimate? -
lol?

No, I Had my sister provide the noise (she does a very convincing shuffling sound). That's how they met. Stop being so silly.
