  1. hi guys, thanks in advance for answering this question.

in NL hold em, can a player under the gun straddle?
If so, by what amount. b/c its NL, can they straddle any amount they wish
and still have a live raise when it comes back to them?

or is it only by 2x the BB?

    please help.
  2. It depends on the house rules whether you can straddle, but in the games i've played it's always been a blind 2 x BB from UTG which would make UTG+1 the new UTG and the straddler last to act preflop (so they can raise when it comes to them). I think it's also possible for the new UTG to straddle in turn, but not sure about the rules concerning that.
  3. LA casino rules:

Straddle from UTG is 2x bb.

Next straddle can be from anywhere, except UTG who has already straddled and the bet is 4xbb which is also 2x UTG's bet
