  1. ok soo everyweek on pay day i deposit 100usd. and lose it all by playing out of my range. high stakes... im on pokerstars, i know on here i can get good advice and postitive feedback/critisism. so with 100 on stars. what games do you recomend me to play. i was thinking to sats to the sunday 1/4 mill. 2 DOLLERS. 36 players 6 people get 10 bux. serious answers. thanks all.
  2. $4.40 180s are pretty soft, but you'd only have 23 BIs so it's not advisible., maybe start out with the $2.20s then move up when you're compfortable.
Also restrict your buy-in limits, helped me alot.

  3. Well, welcome to the club. Bankroll management is the key to staying in this hobby. If your a tournement player you should be playing $1-$3 tourneys with the very few satilites mixed in. There are some great articles on the subject, Read them and FOLLOW THEM.
  4. Jennifear's article on BRM is a must read. Follow her guidlines and you will be well on your way.

  7. It's a grind but you can play the 45s & 90 player MT-SNGs starting at $0.55 & $1.10 to start building a bank roll.

Start adding in the $1.40 90 man KOs & $2.20 90's/180's when you have built the BR to $150.00.

Start adding in the $3.25 45's & 90's when your BR is approaching $200.00.

Try moving up gradually each time you reach 60+ buy-ins and be ready to move down when you lose back to the next lower level.

Once you get your BR moving up, this should give you room to play with out a big ROR
  8. Assuming you NEVER want to deposit again, I'd start with $1 45-mans and 90-mans.

There's a lot of good BRM articles out there. Fox wrote the original one, Jennifear's is great...and (tooting my own horn), I wrote one talking about how to mix up your buy-ins while taking shots and keeping a healthy average. But my guess is that you knew that you were screwing this a long time ago, Frazze.

This isn't a problem of not knowing. BRM is almost always a problem of not having any discipline.
  9. thanks. yeh was lack of disipline. time to put my head down. starting at 100. ill inform my win loss next week. thanks again
