    Want to make a move into stud8 cash games, keen to prove myself at low stakes before moving up to where my bankroll currently allows. How many hands would people recommend playing at like 0.25/0.50 to get an idea of win rate? Also what kind of win rate should i be aiming for at this stake?

    Know there's not many stud8 players, any help appreciated.

    cant believe nobody has helped you out on this...where is 7cardryon when you need him.

    IMHO, the .25/50, .50/1 stud8 cash are easily beatable, especially on my home site AP/UB.

    the difference in play from .50/1 to 1/2 is quite large, I would start at .50/1, since you are rolled for that, and give 10k hands a try and you should get some clear results.

    Also, if your interested in stud8, incorporate some razz and stud into your schedule as well, as i think these games are profitable as well.
