any advice on what style of play works best in $1/$2 nl games ? Besides all the usual tactics of picking up blinds, knowing your players etc. what is the most successful method?
Is it the patient approach, gradually building up your stack by picking your spots or being the obvious loose player who plays a lot of hands so that when they have a premium hand, they get full value for it.
Any advice, i m always in constant dilemma over this. -
i play these tables alot on stars and the play there is pretty easy to beat. My advice is to play everything straight forward... if you raised in, hit your TP then bet the flop you will usually get paid.
I like to play tight til i get up around $50/60 and then use that money to start gambling a bit. Play a few 2 4suited to a raise. But make your own style that works. And make sure you have the roll to be playin there.
