Chip counts are:
Seat 1: opis/sp (11422252 in chips) ($84548.80 Chip Chop amount)
Seat 3: CHI01 (26957427 in chips) (124677.53 Chip Chop)
Seat 4: jdballer40 (37110321 in chips) (139791.09 Chip Chop)
JD suggests that everybody get 100k, and then winner gets additional 60k while second get 30k.
The guy in third wants to do a chip chop and the guy in second just says play on. -
Wait.. so the shortstack is saying he'd rather have $84k than $100k...and the chip leader would rather have $100k and not $139k?? am i reading this right?

Now some chips have moved around the table... and they came up with this...
Table '125310752 4' 9-max Seat #3 is the button
Seat 1: opis/sp (25669329 in chips)
Seat 3: CHI01 (21010350 in chips)
Seat 4: jdballer40 (28810321 in chips)
Everybody gets $122,000 and they play for 30k.... lols -
thats not a bad deal when its 5/1m and everyone has < 30bb
the original deal was lol -
OPR for the three 45.41% 14.02% 16.65%
Combined total profit 0
mbn -
mbn to take 3rd and secure yourself about $40k of extra equity. Fool.
-
He obviously was a genius.
-
lol I'm so glad that no one really realizes for a lot of people this is life changing money and an extra $40k can be somewhat useful in every day life.
Not everyone is as cool as you guys who think they have to the skill to turn down chops this huge. -
Never seen anyone so lucky as opis/sp either. underdog everytime all in, won everytime all in.
-
So for example... when you won your $4/180, would you have considered this chop if you had 135,000 in chips, 2nd place had 97,200 and third had 37,800:

Everybody will get $141.50 and we will all play for $21.00? -
Absolutely retarded example. Big dif. between $4/180s and top 3 in Sunday Mil. Sorry you didn't realize.
-
Granted I have never been at the final table of a major...yet, but I am never offering that deal to anybody, if I have half the chips in play, in any tourney.
-
I wasn't talking about the first deal offered. That was obviously beyond stupid. was talking about where they all settled on 122k or whatever when they were pretty close to even in chips.
Anyone who takes the first deal is obv. not bright. -
Didn't read the whole thread, but I watched JD from when there was 2 tables left. If you think this was LOL, he was trying to arrange a deal as far back as when there were still 12 left. He wanted everyone to lock up 20k and play for the rest.
just wow
