Before the bashing of your post commences, I thought I'd let you know that this has been brought up numerous times this week.
Thought you'd like to know why you are about to see a bunch of:
"we landed on the moon" responses -
when stars did their quadruple shootout, the forced u to show ur cards in the replay, there was a message that told you that when u registered for it too
-
This is bullshit.
I understand why the WPT and other televised events force you to show your holecards to make for good tv to the masses.
Sure the replays are fun to watch, but I see no reason why stars is making everyone expose their cards. -
why not?
-
Are you serious?
You can learn so much about someones game being able to see their cards every hand. Why the hell would I want ppl that I play everyday to have easy access to that information? -
Who gives a shit?
The truly skilled can adapt to any situations, look at people like Annette and Mig.com who expose themselves (lol?) all the time, they continue to win money.
This is a pretty cool idea, and really, most of the time the sunday final table is full of nobodies anyway, it'll be nice to see how bad the play really is during this thing. -
I think this is a great idea. There are usually mostly unknowns at the final table anyways, if you don't like it - don't play. If some of the pros dislike the idea they won't play that tourney, but everyone still plays the WPT and WSOP with the same showing of hole cards. Beyond that, it probably could be a proactive approach to the Absolute cheating scandal and having full disclosure.
hobo -
ditto zefa
-
Now Zefa is the 2nd in chips with 37 left...he might get a chance to expose the hole cards if he can hang on...
-
gl zefa
-
Haha...saw that...you're still only one double up away from being right back in the hunt
-
Right back in it now, keep it up, lets see if we can get 2 FT's for Londonderry today
-
back on track!!!
-
recognizable names might care ie Andy Mcleod
-
gl Zefa and John Duthie
-
lol...something super sick must've happened...i watched Zefa take a beat AI preflop w/ 10/10 v. A9o, which cripped him down to dead last place with 19 left and only about ONE BIG BLIND. (120k)...now he's back up to 4.5 million 20 minutes later when i check back in...haha
