Sunday morning $1M satellites

    I got up early(7AM) to play some satellites for the Sunday Million and all they have now is turbos.It wouldn't be so bad if the blinds were 10 minutes.Would alot of players like to have some non-turbo's to select from for Sunday $1M satellites? Or do alot of players prefer these turbo's?

    Sunday morning satellites for the Sunday $1M for players on the US west coast.

    I'm playing a turbo $8+R right now,

    8 hands dealt 1st level 10/20
    6 hands dealt 2nd level 15/30
    7 hands dealt 3rd level 25/50

    21 hands and its 50/100 now...

    If this is good I guess better would be stars just randomly select winners...lol

    I think I'll not play the turbo spin to win again

    if you learn to play turbos your $/hr from these sats will be higher than you can obtain from the normal ones.

    It doesn't matter what cards you have. You need to be agressive in position, don't plan on showing down. Pick out the tight players who are waiting for cards (YOURSELF) and abuse them. If you play these right you shouldn't have to show your cards, so what does it matter what you have?

    Of course, much later on you will face a few showdowns, but in the beginning if you play smart and right and pick on people who play like you, then you'll will be just fine. Also, by doing so you will gain a large stack that you can use to push people around and gamble a lot later when the blinds get big and force people to make moves.

    It's not the structure that's the problem, it's your game.

    I would rather have stars offer an equal number of rebuy satellites with a normal structure.Some people enjoy turbos thats fine,they have plenty to choose from.I don't enjoy them,and I do not have any to choose from.

    I think it's prob 2 things:

    1. The demand for non - turbos just isn't there. A lot of people don't want to play a 3-4 hr long sat on a sunday morning/afternoon.

    2. They can fit in more people/tournaments (and rake) into the same time period if they are turbos.
