  1. What is the better tournament? They both have the same structure so the only thing to go off would be the quality of play, and thanks to anyone who can give some quality advice.
  2. the main takes alot longer
and the payout to make the money is small in regards to the buy in

  3. I think the warm-up is better imo but i got no reason for that other then i despise the mill.....i just like the smaller field in the warm-up and still very good money paid:)

  4. they're the same tournament minus half the field in the warmup. what else is there to decide... do u wanna play v 2500 ppl or nearly 5500?

  5. this was mainly to ask about the quality of play, and of course no one has given me a good reply

  6. and of course, someone who gets a good reply ignores it and whines

they're the same. no real difference in quality of play. sketchy said that.

  7. The quality of play is better in the warmup for the simple reason that there are 8 gazillion satelittes to the million. Thats not saying that the warmup is exactly world class either, but its defintely better. The trickery is navigating through the 6,00 person minefiled.

  8. I thought Sketchy's reply was pretty good. if youre already whining, play neither, they'll drive you nuts.

  9. damn you people are annoying, im not whining, just wanted to know about the quality of play, ive played the million quite a few times and have never played the warmup thats why i was asking, thanks to whoever asked the question normally instead of bein like dpottz who has no life and just wants to stir things up, thats why people are starting to hate p5s dpottz cause of people like u

  10. the million is softer, end thread

  11. u should just try playin it and see for yourself. people hate p5's cuz of dumb threads like this one

  12. they see me rollin

  13. Million is definitely softer, as someone else said due to the much larger # of satellites.
  14. i fucking said they are the exact same other than field size.

what more do you want? bitch.
  15. i don't think it's much diff, i know a lot of west coast players who skip it every week just cause it starts at 9:45a. there's prob more satellite qualifiers in million but more good players as well. prob better but marginally so.
  16. lol sketchy, there is no way you can make a coastal argument, unless you are saying that the westcoast has a larger concentration of good players than the east coast does, which i think is retarded. For every 1 good player on the west coast there is 100 fish, and for every 1 good player on the east coast there is 100 fish... so really the frequency of good players isn't changed.

The million is undoubtedly softer. Sometimes its not easy to tell because everyone is just so bad you lump them alli n the "they are terrible" pile, but the million is definitely softer.
  17. just bc u win a sattelite to the mil doesnt mean u cant use in for the warmup. Also, Bill Fillmath prefers the warmup, so stick to that one
  18. Would you agree that the millin is softer (more bad players) but it makes its more of a minefield plus so many plyrs that you need to get lucky many times over to get deep.
  19. i'm not disagreeing it's softer but just saying there's a lot of players who don't play it simply because it's earlier.

and i def think west coast > east coast. fo sho.
  20. thanks to sc and actionjeff, just needed people to tell me what they think is softer as im usually not goin early enough to play the warmup, everyone else that just wants to argue and not be constructive ur sad

  21. don't forget that a lot of europeans is available to play the warm-up, too

  22. yes yes, more eurodonks, less west coast pros.

but in the end i still agree quanitity of donkeys > in million than warmup.
