  1. My friends and i have been discussing recently whether or not it would be possible to beat an opponent if you had to play your cards face up. Old timers like nick the greek say that if they had position every hand they could open play there cards. And in Rolf's omaha book he says that all good pot limit players know what there opponent has and the money still has to go in. So my question simply is this, is it possible to beat a player who knows your holdings?
  2. Your opponent would have to be horrible.
  3. Ummmm...basically, they would have to play me.
  4. Thank you for your response jennifear, but, what about pushing draws and dramatic hero calls when your opponent is sure that you cant. Todd brunson also has a system of random check raises and three bets that he employed against Andy Beal. What if the game was limit, or even a variation like hilo, would it be possible.

  5. The hero calls would work a few times but then at some point, the superuser would start playing only hands wherehe was ahead. It's such a large advantage. Try it with a roommate, or random stranger and you'll see.
  6. The optimal line agaisnt a superuser would be allin preflop every time.

  8. Uh?

  9. it would take the ability for the super user to bluff you away. and its easier to win a 40-60 then have to outplay someone who can see your cards.
  10. A.J. seconds this.
