1. I’m looking on OPR at the stats for iggymcfly on FTP. His heads up Omaha PL stats are almost too good to be true. (No, I’ve never played him.) Looks to me like he started playing HU in January playing mostly $58 HU tourneys with a couple of $115’s and $230’s thrown in. Then he starts playing $1030’s this month. He wins the first 10 he plays. He also had a nice streak of 12 in a row at lower limits in January. Then things start to even out a little although he’s still winning more than he loses.
I admit I’ve seen so much stuff on FTP Omaha tables that doesn’t look right to me, so I’m predisposed to be suspicious that shady stuff is going on. Just seems weird that you could jump to high stakes so quickly and own it so quickly. Flame away and tell me this stuff happens all the time.
2. People play NL bad...they play PLO even worse...just my guess and I don't really know how to say what I'm thinking, but HU PLO there can be a lot more variety of bluffing than NL so he might have huge edge? Plus there's a thing called heeeeeeaterrrs.. :]
3. LOL funny to read this cause this guy whooped me the other day. he beat me 3 in a row and i quit but i was outclassed and treating it as a learning experience. his timing was great and all but i left thinking he was just playing good/running good.
