    So I was reading that new article on the main page about Joey Capp being #51 in the new rankings and in the article he talks about how he always swaps percentages w/ another player. Is that a pretty frequent thing players do? What is the average percent that players normaly swap? And is it only in tournies they both play in or for everything they enter? sorry i'm a noob

    5-10% is standard
    obv sometimes more and sometimes less
    people do it quite often
    esp in bigger buyins
    and yes, same tournys
    im sure ppl do it different ways, but this is pretty standard

    Pretty standard. If you feel you and the swapper are of equal skill, it helps with variance.

    I swap 10% of anything over 1k with one of my buddies and visa versa. Pretty sure a bunch of guys do this.

    I'd say its really common in bigger buyin tournaments. Also I swap 10% with someone on any score >$2500 if we both played the tournament.
