Just curious was to what changes need to be made in strategy when switching from 9-mans to 18-mans. Particularly when it gets to be 6 handed at both tables and then down to 5 handed also, that tends to be when I'm leaking a lot of chips. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and I'm the push/fold type, play tight until blinds are high so if you can keep it in context of that strategy that would be amazing.

Two big differences near the end:
Three handed in a 9 man SNG, you can shove wider from 2nd place... the prize pool is 50/30/20, so essentially you stand to gain 20 if you move up a spot to 1st and only risk 10 to get there
Three handed in a 18 man, with a pool of 40/30/20/10, the jump from 2nd to 1st is equal with the 2nd to 3rd jump, 10 each way, so you need to push more cautious, and the chipleader has a greater advantage... in the 18 man, the "bubble" portion of the SNG doesn't end until it's heads up.
Four handed in a 9 man, with the shortstack, you usually need to get in there and fight unless the other players are calling stations, but in a 18 man, 5 handed, there are more opportunities for the others to clash and you eat the BB less often, so trying to back into 4th is a viable option a greater % of the time.
Hope that helps! -
Wow thank you so much. I actually feel kinda honored that I just got advice from Jennifear haha. Thanks that all made a lot of sense and will definitely help my game out.

She forgot to mention a very important factor: If you play against her, never call a preflop shove. She has a deal with the devil :
