    I am only doing this b/c TranquilChaos did it and then a few months later he is winning 200K on the WPT, hell I need all the help I can get.

    Today is my last day working in the corporate world and then it is time to give this poker thing a try. I put in my notice about a month ago when I didn't have the bankroll and living expenses that I needed to be comfortable with the career move but it helped me tremendously in the past month and I have played much better and consequently made enough money to be comfortable for 6 months even if I lose. I am gonna play multis almost exclusively which I would think is the hardest way to make the move, but F it, I am sure I can do it.

    Anyway, not much point to this other than to thank the staff and community of pocketfives for literally changing my life. I started playing last November and was up just a few hundred bucks when I found this site and with the advice and discussion I found on this board I went from looking at poker as another form of gambling to a way to make a living. I am more grateful that I could ever express on this board. Thank you.

    I talk with a lot of these guys on here privately. From what experience I have, I can tell you that Trues is without question one of the 2 or 3 most poker-talented guys I know. I have very high hopes for him, and I know he'll make a big splash in the online poker world.

    Everything's gonna work out for ya, Trues. I'm excited for ya.

    Let's take down this WSOP Circuit next week. I'm looking forward to it.

    All I can say is it will be the most stressful yet self-gratifying thing you will do. (assuming that it is your dream and passion)

    i wish u the best of luck in this endeavour.

    The previous 5 month slump I endured scared me too much to do that, but a few more months like my last 2? I will then look at what u did.

    good luck. never ever stop studying and remember you will eventully run worse then you ever thought possible so keep some $$ in reserve so that bad run(s) doesnt break you.

    True,

    I know we havent always gotten along or agreed, but I sincerely wish you the best. This is something that takes guts, pride, dedication and character to succeed at and im sure you will be great at it.
