talking smack at the table

    do you like to talk smack at the table? usually im pretty friendly, always to the players i like and respect, but i have to admit i love finding one or two people to pick on and really get under their skin. It just makes the game so much more amusing and puts others on tilt. I used to be an absolute mute at the table when I first played but now there are some games where I just can't seem to keep my mouth shut. Do you talk smack..?

    I ususally joke around and try to get some laughs, but there is always that one guy who starts something up and yes I let it roll pretty consistantly until he busts out with 2nd pair. :)

    two of my most memorable sessions were where i just played one 6 man cash game (one on interpoker and one on party poker) and just talked smack and became an action player, constantly raising. I was up over 15x the max buy in when i left. had a few beers in the process too. i think it can be of a huge advantage during cash games.

    Personally, I never talk trash at the tables. I don't see the point, and Im not eager to offend anyone. I also don't see much of it from others, whether it be at a cash table or in a tournament. For those that do like to talk down to someone, I only wonder if you would do the same at a live table. If you don't have the guts to call someone out at a live tournament, then don't do it online.

    I think I'll start doing it constantly. From the very beginning of a s'n'g I started talkin trash. At the beginning I said I play perfect poker like Phil Helmuth and that I'm going to win this one. Before almost every move I made I was making some comments, which made a few players furious and they were making really stupid moves, which finally alowed me to win this s'n'g :)
