  1. Pokerroom is my favorite site. I would like to keep playing there after the 6th of November. If I get someone overseas to sign up for an acct, and I use one of the proxy services, will I be able to play there? Or, is there some technical issue I don't understand?

  2. why the hell would pokerroom be your favorite site??? It's terrible!
  3. SURE--

read one of several posts on sites that allow your IP to show as non US--therefore can play
  4. Even if you could play, you'd still have a tough time depositing into the account.

  5. Yeah 8ball, Poker Room sucks. They are getting everything they deserve. And even if you could still play there, all the US Donks will be gone so it won't be the same.
  6. 1st....I highly doubt they would be checking proxies and blocking all real money play from US nodes. After all, they are not closing US accounts, only restricting them from real money games. I can virtually guarantee a proxy is not needed, what if a non-us player is vacationing here? How could they tell between Mexicans and Canadians and Americans who are probably all using the same nodes along the borders? It's just not practical. A non-US account is probably all you'll need, unless they start saying they won't take checks from a US bank, then you'll need a non-US bank account. Probably a new account with Neteller or MyCitadel with your non-us address will suffice.

2nd....PR sucks. But if it's your fav, what can I say?
