    I ran well below par on Saturday playing a fair number of tourneys until I jumped in the nightly 70k on stars. Built a healthy stack after a couple hours and then I got a call that one of my friends was in the hospital after being taken there by public safety because she was passed out drunk at the O.A.R. concert. So I abandon the tourney and drive a bunch of our friends to the hospital to see her. Turns out everything was fine and she was being taken home so I hurry home thinking I might still have a chance in the tourney. I sit back down with 5 bb's but run like Zeus and make it to the ft 2/9 only to fuck it up for a 4th place finish.

    Never ran so good in one tournament before and don't expect to ever again. I'm not sure if I check this one off as good karma or what, but I'll take the 4th place finish

    i once left a tourney on party poker with 18 left for a 3 some with my g/f and her hot friend, i dont know about doing it for a passed out drunk girl......but anyway gg man and nice to see some good karma shipped your way.

    Might have been Karma. Funny thing is, who knows how many landminds you dodged by sitting out. How many times did you have a big hand and someone else had bigger(you had KK, someone had AA). Or, how many times would your big hands have cracked. You could have been out.

    Obviously, you shouldn't be playing in tournaments where there's a decent chance you can't finish. But, for an emergency, glad you finished strong and got a nice score.

    ya! I busted in the 70k last night QQ < AA. KK < AA in the 50-50 too. Maybe on to something. sitting out ftw!

    Actually bought a ticket to this concert too as I am of the opinion that they don't completely suck. but money>OAR for sure
