I never self promote, but I thought this was funny. I've always kept the vast majority of my online bankroll on UB. Well thanks to this whole Pokershare debacle, I realized how foolish it is to keep so much money on any one site. I figured I'd eventually get my check, but if I didn't, what could I do about it? Basically, nothing. So yesterday morning I cashed half of my money out of UB. I felt better, but I still wasn't satisfied. I couldn't bring myself to come home from work to play UB, so I decided to play the $10 rebuy on pokerstars instead. Six hours later, I had a third place finish out af a field of about 750 or so. I was really disappointed I couldn't win it, but on the other hand, 3K doesn't suck. (Side note: just once when I make a big reraise with an ace three handed, I wish the original raiser would fold instead of call me with KQ. That's the third time I've gone out third like that--you'd think I'd eventually learn to stop making that raise. SMD fold equity.)

So anyway, thank you, Pokershare debacle. Now my bankroll will be earning interest, and I had a big cash in a tournament I otherwise never would have even played. It's always nice when something positive can come out of something so crappy. No UB boycott here, I cashed my Pokershare check this morning, but you'll definitely be seeing me more often at the other sites from now on.
