Other than dealers, or working in a casino?

Lots of room in corporate for any/all positions qualified, I imagine. If you have a finance oriented background/career, I would imagine you can land something with Harrah's or MGM (or any other)if you really wanted. What are you qualified for/interested in/educated for?

I was just going to make a thread on this same thing. I am currently going to school to get an economics/finance degree and was thinking about pursueing a job at a casino other than a dealer. Does anybody currently have a job like this or know anything? Like salary decription of job positions and education needed?

a couple of my buddies own a poker promotion company called www.divisionpoker.com that promotes and sets up alot of charity and big poker tournaments, not sure if they are currently hiring but with wsop coming up they usually have a booth at the wsop life expo and might need some help. they extend into many different aspect of poker with some television shows. you will definately recognize 1 of the guys . there are tons of other opportunities out there in the industry, theres a guy i see at every big tourney that sells sunglasses , has tons of greg raymer type and others , he must do all right to travel to all the tourneys and rent space and sell glasses. the pokersites hire tons of people to work at the life expo during the wsop, and like the others all suggested check out the big sites and see if they are hiring, do something like ftpdoug or scotty and get into public relations for an online site.
