Heres my situation. I have money on Fulltilt and want to get it off the site quickly enough for BCPC... Is it alright if my roommate opens an account on FT and I transfer him money for holding purposes? He will not be playing or at least most likely not as he is not into poker.... It is up to him what he does with the money because it will essentially be his after he gives me cash. What do you guys think? Thanks for any responses.

Thanks for the response Baby Bull... I figured this might be the case which would be terrible... Sorry for cluttering the boards with this stuff its just that FT support wont get back to me.

Not sure but if he deposits on Fulltilt but 'doesn't' take the sign up bonus offer, then I don't think he has to earn any specific number of pts. to make a withdrawl. I wouldn't know... this is just my understanding of it (sure many others on here will know).
Do you have any friends who'd want to just buy Fulltilt $'s off of ya? Any local games I go to where I live there's always a bunch who are looking to buy FT $'s.
gl at BCPC this year! Doesn't look like I'll be going.. sigh -
Pretty sure that wihout verifying the account by providing ID and associating and verifying a payment method they won't let you set up an account and withdraw a transfer, especially without playing any games. Money laundering prevention is the reason. The grey legality for online poker is bad enough, if the sites were seen to allow easy transfer of money without any checks, then they'd get shut down super fast and Lederer et al would be nailed to the mast very quickly on RICO charges etc.
Why can't you withdraw yourself? On paper it looks slightly dodgy, even if there's no ill intent.
