    I just fucked up my stack ev was quite low I was taking my shot vs the bounty PJ had 2bbs and was to my left I had like 9 I made the mistake of miniraising in EP hoping he calls allin so I get a redic +EV spot to win 200$ bty with my stack ev being under 200. I should have been limping and when he decided to go with it call no matter what other people do behind me. My minraise/folding forced me to call allin in BB because if I folded I wouldn't of had PJ covered anymore and the chance to win the bty. It would of been more +EV for me to limp/fold infront of PJ until he was in BB and then forced allin with any2.

    heh anyone who studies btys and such esp with pros and runs some math you'd be shocked how often you should call their allin at the early stages it's effectively a starting stack worth of ev everytime you get allin vs one of them covering them. Say a pro shoves KK utg faceup for 1k chips utg at first blind level in say 200 turbo if you have 1001 chips in BB you should call A2o. The math is quite simple recognizing it and using it is not.

    Makes sense, just don't understand why having them outchipped by a chip or having same exact stack as them is any different.

    because if u have have 3k and they have 1k, your stack size ev is greater than your original buy in so by calling them you are probably losing equity.

    it doesnt but I just did it so people werent like what if you had 10k or 1k its still +EV. I just wanted to illustrate that you would knock them out if you won and that was easily shown by having 1 more chip.

    Waco is just angry cuz he's going to get all his shoves called now but that doesnt matter he prob has QQ+ anyway :).
