  1. If I primarily play 5.50 1 table SnG's and decide to start increasing the number of $11 double shootout sats I play, what can I expect as far as my 1st place % from the $11 DS vs 5.50.

For example. If I currently finish 1st 20% at the 5.50 level what pct can I expect to make it past the first leg of the shootout when I jump to the $11 DS?
  2. I think you got a good question and I have no idea. I will say it would be hard to determine because the double shootouts start with 8 players. (assuming you are talking about the $11 Double shootout sats to the big sunday). Also the fact that it pays only one spot changes up strategy IMO. Personally when it's one spot moves on only it's a disadvantage to the way I play. In a normal cash SnG I can start putting pressure on the middle stacks as we get close to the money and pick up lots of chips from those that look like they just want to make it to the cash. In winner take all people will gamble more and rightfully so...so it's much harder to steal.

Having said all that I just can't tell you much about your question. Also I havent played a $5.5 SnG in a while but I would not be surprised if the level of play was worse in the first double shootout table than a normal 5+.5 sng. Just a guess.
  3. I dont see why your connecting them with 5 dollar but from my experience from playing them they seem weaker than 5 stt the players seem weak and think they must double up early for some reason. They are 8 man if i remember correctly so u should be able to keep 20% then if that is your stats.. And 2 get the seat at final table so give urself 35%(2/8 win seat) and u should end winning a seat 7% of the time.. Which is a roi 47% roughly.. Thats just rough thing for you. But you would need a nice br if u plan playing primarily.. Anyway good luck with it
  4. They are pretty soft IMO... I have used the same strategy that Ive been using for regular $10+1 SNGs, and been doing ok. The only thing that is diffrent is that there is no bubble play when you get to 4 people on the first table, so you should play pretty aggresive, but not as much as around the bubble in a regular SNG. Also, when you get 3 handed on the final table, the strategy changes a little. If your not the short stack, dont take ANY chances. Do NOT battle with the other big stack, it just doesnt make sense. If you got a BIG chip lead over the other two, try to just keep your stack and let the other guys battle it out.
  5. DS are maybe the easiest game on this site...i strictly play the turbos and wait till 5 handed then just take over bc most just dont understand the concept that only 1 place pays....Just sit and wait till 5 handed and hopefully hit a big hand then play extremely LAG and push a lot. You need a bit of luck but id like to say id get a seat for every 4-6 i play...
