thoughts on taking big risks w/ pair and draw early in a tournament (50k guaranteed).....results up...no he didnt have a set

    My question is 1)is it bad to take this risk early w/ the 3k chip structure
    2) if I am gonna take the risk is the small lead into raiser/ 3 bet the way to do it...
    3) If that is the line that is best should the 3 bet be a shove (overbet) or a raise like I made (more inline w/ a how id bet a set or slowplayed AA)

    you have over 20 outs (unless he flopped a set) and if you are playing to WIN than its not a bad move, beware of AKh or a higher heart draw but at least you have a str8t draw and a pair as well...GL!

    Set of 9's, so you need to hit flush draw without pairing the board. Would have just called the raise to 160 - pot is big enough for you to extract chips if you improve.

    I would fold. Its too early in the tourny. U now found out he is aggressive with his big pairs (assuming thats what he has) and I would wait for him to make a mistake later and then catch him on it. Thats just my thought this early in the tourny. Also if hes on a draw and is hold like KQ or wutever u lose 4 outs. Plus u have the possibility of having the lower end of the flush. Its a good betting hand if u ask me but not a good all in hand.
    or just call the initial bet and see the turn card.
