  1. Still far away from the bubble.

We both played, quiet, ABC poker since the start.

No real hand involved us together since the beginning, even if he is 2 to my left.

  2. Looks like 8's full to me or possibly 5's full. I doubt he's doing this with a worse flush. I'd fold.
  3. I'd have a hard time folding, but to quote SCT "Would he ever do this with a worse hand than yours..blah blah...your hand is just a bluff catcher..blah blah"

Then he'd most likely say easy fold.
  4. i dont think he ever has 5s full or qj here checking thru the flop 4 ways. qq jj no chance. would he limp q8 and then check through the flop, pretty doubtful. its either 88 or the ace hi flush draw that id be worried about, with the A hi flush draw he would have had to check back on the flop and then bet the turn, which is possible but also a reach. i think its 88 or nothing. and with your hand being pretty underrepped and a lot of scare cards out there to try and push you off a hand + being up against thinking player like gigabet, i would call.
  5. Do you really think the OP's hand is underepped here? It looks like exactly what it is to me....a flush draw that hit the river.
  6. Flopping the nuts and failing to bet is a problem. As played, I fold. Gigabet isn't bluffing this river, and he isn't raising without a better hand. 88 is the only thing that makes sense to me.
  7. checks behind on the flop with 88...
  8. iguess youre right in hindsight... i just remember thinking i would have played this big a draw faster, and that he only bet like 1/2 pot on river.
  9. Bet flop uno vez
  10. why do you rule out QJ to me it still seems possible that he checks his 2 pair bc the board is so draw heavy for pot control and to see if turn is a blank. when evey1 cheks turn he prob figures nobody flopped the nuts and can bet for value... Qj in position in multiway pot why not? looks alot like 88 though

You show strengh on riv and he shoves, indicates he most likely has it
  11. It's 88 for Giga or nothing. He's probably not checking the A high flush draw on the flop and betting the turn, and he's not checking 555 on that board on the flop with all the draws out there.

I'd probably call and get shown 8's full of Q's.
  12. "why do you rule out QJ to me it still seems possible that he checks his 2 pair bc the board is so draw heavy for pot control and to see if turn is a blank."

    That i could agree

"when evey1 cheks turn he prob figures nobody flopped the nuts and can bet for value... Qj in position in multiway pot why not?"

    That too.

But here my problem is with the bet sizing. With QJ, in his position, with 4 people still around and his stack, i think i would make at least a pot size bet (maybe even overbet it, something i rarely do), to define clearly my hand right now and prevent draw since i'm probably good now.

480 is not bad, but when one call, all the others could join with any weird draw and i cant see 1 card i would feel confortable on the river.

    I don't know.

    "looks alot like 88 though"

Thats the problem, the 480 bet size look more correct and appropriate with that. ;(

  13. couldnt u also include 9h Th in his range, or do u think he would have bet the flop with that? i could def see him checking that.

But i agree it could also just as easily be 88

  14. I put Gigabet on one of 3 hands...all of which you beat...your leadout bet is beggin for a raise...imo....i think he has JTc, QT, or KQ....will he post back???
  15. you are beat more often here than a red headed step child
  16. Gigabet isn't shipping any of those hands on that river....I hardly doubt he's even calling with any of them. JMO.
  17. lead flop, lead turn, hand is much easier to play.

  18. Could you bet the flop or raise the turn maybe? You got yourself in this situation by underplaying your hand and then overvaluing it on the end. Sure, in this case, playing a huge draw loose on the flop may have put you in a race situation with all the money on the flop, but this would be preferable to this spot. As played, fold, I think he setted the flop with 55 and filled the river, though I have no idea how Giga would not bet this flop with so many draws out there.

Edit, 88 would be another possibility here, but it's the same thing, fold. Also more likely as it explains the flop check, though I don't know whether he would raise MP with that.
  19. Gigabet is nuts, I think he is messing with your skull.
