  1. played some of the best poker of my ilfe today, but lost 3k. lost the biggest pot of my life, 72k, on a gutter at the river.

but honestly people. stop worrying. if this is the end, it has been a good run. i'll miss the friends, community, and lifestyle, but this is life, and it goes on.

personally i think there is a good chance there will be some good news. the site that takes US bsuiness could get HUGE.

    good luck to you all,

    tc
  2. Thanks for being positive about things, Taylor. I hope for good news too....

  3. atleast post the hand!
  4. Bad beats to the left TYVM!
  5. HaHa Mayor. Funny guy... Anyways, Taylor is lucky enough to be able to afford to fly to Vegas and play in some of the bigger no limit games they run there. Even one good night pays for several months of living expenses. Good luck and get that money back.. we all know you are plenty good enough.
  6. Taylor as usual thanks for the positive attitude towards a very horrific event. I hope the site that does US business runs their business with the same standards as stars does. Either way the ball may drop this won't be an end to my life nor I hope anyone else's. Take care.
  7. Sites that could take US business really is the key, isn't it. The ban would be totally unenforceable in practical terms if the online sites did not respect it. Unfortunately, though, this is what appears to be happening. Those that are public companies are the ones that have to be most careful because they have to justify their actions to shareholders.

It may be time for a new generation of online businesses. You've got to believe that the Nevada gaming companies would die to get a piece of the online business. They must be controlled by some of the biggest and most powerful corporations in the US. They could create a powerful lobby that would have the support of many many casual players to create a regulated, taxed, US-based online industry. That has to be the ultimate outcome if there is enough political muscle behind it.

Just some musings from a non-american who doesnt really know how your system works in detail....
