Micro stakes player, made a withdrawal last night and found my account frozen when I tried to log on pokerstars this morning. Email from pokerstars says:
Following a review of your account and recent cashout request we have
identified you have a close relation to the following account(s):
and listed the account names of my two brothers who play on pokerstars occasionally. Neither has played in the last 3-4 weeks and they play low volume micro stakes infrequently.
They asked me to have the players of these two accounts email them, fax them my license and explain the nature of my relation to the named accounts. Did this, had my brothers email them and am waiting for a response.
Anyone had a similar experience with pokerstars? Not sure why this happened, except that I have been home from school for the holiday break and was playing from the same IP address that they have played from in the past, my parents house. Didn't play at the same time as them, let alone play in any of the same tournaments.
Not a big deal just wondering what kind of timeframe I am looking at to be able to play again, any input would be appreciated. Thanks. -
4days - 2 weeks or so some times longer email then and ask if there is anything u can do to help etc
