  1. Rec Online Player. I prefer in person cash games but do to legal issues can't play them anymore in Georgia. I have 30 Bucks on FTP. The site wont take my debit or credit card to juice it up to more of a starting bankroll. What is the best route to take to build from there.

I am capable of playing 4 tables of 2/.25 turbos SnG's. Am I better of playing 4 tables or just playing one at a time? Thanks in advance.
  2. i dunno its hard to say without knowing what your results are like when multitabling, id play whatever feels most comfortable to you.............

also id chuck in the odd$1 mtt when u get a chance
  3. I only play one table and thats what I would recommend to anyone. There is simply no way to be able to fully concentrate on your opponents while playing multiple tables, and you need that perfect concentration to make perfect reads.
  4. THERE IS SIMPLY NO WAY TO BE ABLE TO FULLY CONCENTRATE ON YOUR OPPONENTS BLAH BLAH??????!???????

I hope your fucking kidding, some people cant concentrate when its only one table, 2-4 tables is nothing of what I usually play..
  5. I have a maximum concentration level of 3 tables...Anything over that puts me on monitor tilt.
  6. try extendzor
  7. Donkilicious, don't be so harsh.

The OP is 100% correct when he says that if you want to play perfect (or as perfect as possible) you cannot play more than one table.

However, if you are a winning player it is significantly more profitable to play many tables at let's say 90% of your maximum.

  8. It is a skill that you can develop over time. Kind of like speed reading. You learn to focus on what is most important and use that information to make your best decisions. After awhile you become very efficient. It also helps you to tighten up a bit and play better hands. I am mostly TAG (lower stakes), but would love to hear if any LAG players are just as comfortable multi-tabling.
  9. Seth, you have a tiny penis.

  10. I find myself when playing one table I start watching TV or online. I have found that the 2 bucks turbo is loose and I play only premium hands I can find myself in the money about 36% of the time. So far it is working but still at a slow rate.

I am use to in person cash games where I can make good moves and be rewarded with a huge pot and not tourney chips. I am not at the skill level yet to successful at NL cash games online. My huge advantage is being able to read people and I am handicaped when all I have to go on is a computer screen.

  11. Micro SNGs are the way to go. I don't know what you get on FTP, but on stars I've turned $50 into $200 playing only $1.20 SNGs (now jumping into the $5.50s). If you play decently and can 4 or 6-table, they are very profitable for a tiny bankroll. Just stick to any SNG $2 or lower until you get $100, preferably on non-turbos to start (less variance), as I suppose you don't want to be losing these $30 if you can't redeposit right ?
    Good luck.
  12. 3$turbos, play 4 at a time, you dont need to focus on acquiring reads on your opponents, you only need to play tight, chase with proper odds, and know and how to play push/fold poker
  13. Thanks Guys that is very helpful. I will move down to the 1 buck turbos.
