    9. Why golf announcers always have thick British accents and always whisper into the mics, like the golfers can hear them or something... They are always so poetic and lovey-dovey too... "Here on the 15th hole, it's a beautiful dog leg left where pale white Hawian bunkers cordially invite you to a top class green.. players would like to probably shoot a nice and smooth eight iron onto the putting surface..." I'm afraid at somepoint this announcer is just gunna blow his load because he's so in love with golf. I would love to see a Spanish soccer announcer at the golf course... "Tigro la Woodso a la mento a la goooooooooooooooooooooooalllll!!! TIGRO!!!"

    Golf announcers whisper into the mics because they are on the back of the greens when they are talking. If they are talking when the cameras are on the tee box, there are more than likely golfers putting on the green in which the announcers are talking. So yes they can hear them.
