if multi-ing, it is way too much i know...sometimes i find music throws my game off too...for example, when i am driving and i hear a song that confronts my ego and i get excited i drive faster / at the poker table i play too fast

  8. visualize winning a MTT..and if thats not enough, visualize having sex with hottest babe you know, after you win a MTT.
  9. Mediocre Poker podcasts ftw
  10. Play more tables
  11. Having movies on instead of music is a good one,

and you'd even still be able to listen to it if you were playing a lot of tables

For me, Rocky movies (especially the boxing match in the end in Rocky 6 for me) work great for that adrenaline rush. The Matrix series also comes to mind, for the cool fight scenes and accompanying music

  12. 1. Pay attention to what other people are doing at your table.

    2. Take notes on players for current and future sessions.

    3. Work on maintaining an ideal table image for yourself at each table.

    4. Identify the weaker players at your table for future exploitation.

    5. Listen to good music to help focus.

IMO anything besides listening to music while multi-tabling is a bad idea, and will definitely hurt the bottom line. While ur watching a video of hellmuth's last blow-up, I just noticed that seat 3 bluffed a flush card on the river and was called by seat 8 w/ middle pair, thus giving me valuable info when I may be up against them in future hands. It's already hard enough to see everything playing multiple tables, why would u be doing anything else? Perhaps if u are bored then u should find another way to spend ur time, perhaps one that won't be so expensive.

  20. When I work I listen to music, but that's it. My input into the computer and what I read is poker related. I observe as many hands as possible, try to pinpoint betting patterns, up my rate. I don't check email or read news sites or anything. I have nothing but poker on the mind. That's why when I'm away from the game I never ever want to talk about it, unless I'm just talking shop with a few close friends, it's like I have designated times for work and for play.

If you're fucking around while you're working all the time I think its really going to hurt you in the long run.
