  1. I have just raised 4x with AQ...got stop and goed by the button, and end up with a decent hand on the BB...i dont want to lead out here because it is so weak, but is that the correct play? should i just fold?? is my play acceptable because it offers me the fold equity because other players may think i have 78 or a set??

  2. Interesting hand, kind of a rock and a hard place. On balance I think I check-fold this one.

    - Leading out... half pot lead out not the worst play in the world, guessing this would be with the intention of folding to a reraise. Danger is a flat call. Not sure I like this into 2 players who have you covered with the bare 9 but something to be considered.

    - The CR all in really depended on reads, an average player at the 22s would not be thinking very hard about your hand. You gave your opponent 3/1ish on the call, not sure that anyone willing to bet pot on this flop is going to fold with those kind of odds... if he was thinking about your hand at all then I would expect a made straight to check / call here and try and get the rest in on the turnor river - if you were representing anything here is was a straight draw... now an overpair or TPGK type hand can make the call based on odds alone.

Yep, talked myself into a check / fold - who knows, maybe I'm weak / tight!!

    Cheers, Mark

  3. I would not have shoved her rather lead out on the flop with a small feeler bet and be able to fold if you are rearised ( possible set, Over pair, Outkicked) all of which could have you beat.
