(I call to set mine knowing he has JJ,QQ,KK,AA or AK)( I was borderline folding because my implied odds to set mine on his stack were very marginal).

    Kamikazzee63 checks
    arabadjiev bets 7,000
    Kamikazzee63 calls 7,000

(He bet less then half pot 7k into 19k pot. I figure I have 6 outs.. also his bet seemed kinda weak to me)

(He checks! AK popped into my head.)

    arabadjiev bets 12,000

( The river was another Q, which changed nothing...I immediately went into check call mode.. Thinking he has AK....he bet the river and I snap called....)

**My Mistake ( If he has AK he will check the river. He will NOW bet his JJ because he isnt scared of the Q anymore like he was on the turn. Also if he did check a set of Q's on the turn he is obv. betting the river w/ quads...I basically only beat a bluff here...)

*Thoughts and input are greatly appreciated*
  2. Fold to the raise preflop. Implied odds are not right (most people recommend looking for 20:1 odds to set mine in MTTs).

As played, I probably play it the same way. Definitely floating the flop. After villain checks turn, I would likely call the small river bet as well. His betting range on the river can include both bluffs and pairs, so calling is probably right.
  3. If you think he is on that big of hand preflop, with stacks and position.... all things considered I would fold and pick a different spot. Post flop play I probably play it close to the same.
  4. I am aware of the 20:1 for set mining. I usually try not to go below 15:1 and I try to be in position too. I had to call about 6,000 more and he had about 65000 behind but he had me covered by about 7,000 going into the hand so i can only double MY stack. 6,000 into 57,800= roughly 9.5:1 + whats already in the pot(6,000 more) So that gets me up to 10.5:1...is that right? So I went against a few rules *I didn't have correct odds. I was also out of position which makes it tougher to stack your opponent. Another point* if he had JJ,QQ,KK and I hit my set, an Ace on the board would kill my action too.
