final table bubble of the 11+ on stars.
the chipleader opens on the bu, i am in 3rd chip position and the bb is in 2nd place.
after i 3bet the bu raise the bb 4bets without thinking a single second about it.
my image is somewhat loose but i havent been 3 betting too much.
the bb is a solid player at least from what i have seen him do.
when he 4 bets that fast i am not too happy about the situation because i think he only does this with a very stronge range.if he had a hand like TT or JJ he would most likely have to think about it for a moment and consider the stack situation etc.
i really doubt that in this kind of tournament players are tricky enough to know i might be 3 betting light and come over the top light.

    what do you guys think?
is this maybe a spot were i can lay my hand down?</span>
  2. If you don't think the player is that good, or good enough to make a play light in this situation you are up against AA, KK or AK. You'll have a big enough stack to keep putting pressure on smaller stacks if you fold. It is definitely a tough decision and unfortunate timing. On the other hand if you get it in and double up, your chances of winning the tournament increase greatly.
  3. whoa, bro.

You're six handed QQ is an absolute monster. Button is opening any two, so you should be 3betting decently wide range.

I don't think BB thinks too long with JJ and he snaps with AK too. TT likely a standard shove here. And I'm thinking AQs is a standard shove as well. AQo might be close. Obv we are discounting AQ significantly here, but for purposes of ranging the 4 bettor this is what would should be thinking about. I'd like to here some thoughts on that hand and any others that the BB should be 4bet shoving.

Anyway, I would say that JJ, AK and possibly TT are in his four bet range, so this has to be a snap call/reshove. And as long as you can put those two hands in his range, you cannot fold this, esp nearing teh FT bubble.

You mention his timing tell-you don't think he's thinking for a second with AA? and probably KK as well.

Never put in 20% of ur stack with QQ and fold here. Please just don't do it.
