I'm looking to open up my mind/creativity in these OOP spots, I have always played extremely passive when i miss, never really put much thought into them until recently obv i'll Cbet sometimes if my stack or opponent dictates, what are some of the things (creative, or thought provoking/pressure) to do when utg, ep3, ep2, you have a semi decent hand and are called and miss the flop????

example.....
your in EP+2 with (aAhJh)
your a midstack 24000 blinds are 500 / 1000
you open with 2260
folds to the button (35000 stack /very laggy) who flats
flop.....Td 8c 3s
????
would opening pre with a heavier raise be somewhat of a blocking bet...
would a limp with the intent to RR be another way to block. ( are these options?)
obv. the normal cbet works well, but if you feel the villian will almost always call/RR with this stack and betsizeing what can you do?
is this a leak that i should be folding most often?
thoughts...
Reason: edited....for hypothetical.... -
Villain called out of the big blind so his range is pretty wide here. I would fire out a cbet here 100% of the time
-
Weird....not sure why you've edited the hh.
I would be in push / fold mode pre with less than 11bbs eff.
As played if you think the guy will almost always push over a cbet, c/f imo -
You need to be shoving this hand pre or open folding. You have 11.5 BB and like you said, you are OOP.
The action needs to begin and end for you preflop. -
thats a pretty deep-stacked table you've got there....how about posting the unedited HH for us
-
Not really oop when you're UTG+1 vs. BB

bogus chip stacks but real player names? I was excited about the scenario and the discussion, now I'm just @_@
I've been in these exact same spots, super frustrating because I don't want to dump more chips and have him call with T9o and I hate folding to these guys... it's almost like they read something somewhere like just call super wide from bb and stick in your chips, that works often enough to be a cute trick -
simular thoughts.....is this a "trick" i need to start exploiting!!!!!
