  2. I think considering the stack sizing...and especially the utg + 1 callers (~50bb)...we can probably slightly widen the calling range of the big stack compared to normal. I would range him as probably 77/AJs + (compared to maybe something like 99/AQ+ if he had a smaller stack???) so overshoving behind here is never "bad" imo. I think an important point here is how soft you think the table is....if its pretty cruisy progress and you feel you have an edge on the table then by all means a fold here isn't terrible as we still have enough play to pick other spots. However i think considering stack sizes i am more in favour of getting it in here to try and chip up big and look to become a major threat. Its pretty close but i think we can find the big stack making a marginal call quite a lot of the time here where 1010 can play pretty well.

  3. anyone else? trivial fold? or trivial jam?

  4. I fold here alot, the flatter can be flatting a monster here alot of the time and even if he isnt, the shover can definitely have you beat here. I think shover is going allin with whole range here including AA & KK alot of the time. Even against overcards(if both have), thats alot of outs you have to fade and I think I can find a better spot than this one. Would like to hear what others have to say.
  5. I think a fold is good considering you may be a coin flip at best or facing an overpair.
  6. I guess it is a fold then. Was hoping for some more responses. Just was not clear to me at the time. 1.5 to 1 and even against some wider ranges against both I could not get the 40% needed. Just wondering who gambles here.

  7. pic.... put me on the fence.

Where were we in the tourny here? ITM? pre - money? Deep? That would affect my decision.

It really depends on whether i have seen that Flatter do ANYTHING that seemed not solid before this. Or whether he had ever flatted anything else big. Also, how quick did he call - was it think? or snap? If he snapped that gives the edge to shoving here... I don't think anyone snap flats a monster - they'd think for a second.

I agree that his range is wider than normal given stacks here and him having the tabler covered except for one guy... but i doubt he is ever doing this with a lower pair than yours unless he is actually retarded.

Essentially, if you think he's competent, you fold. If he has spewed at all light or has any retard bones than I''m looking for a reason to ship.

What was your GUT as soon as you saw it?
