    My company is sending me out to Minnesota for a business conference so naturally I book a room at the nearest casino. Anyone ever been here? Any decent poker action? I will only be there Sunday-Wednesday. It is the Treasure Island Resort and Casino outside Red Wing, Minnesota.

    I played there once like a year ago, they had like 4 games going, I think I was playing 2-10 spread limit. Poker room is fairly nice.

    never played at treasure island but if you have some free time canterbury is a short trip from there.

    I haven't been there in awhile. The room is pretty small (like 12 tables the last time I was there), and they spread low limit games (2-4 and 2-10 spread being the popular games). I imagine it's busier now, than the last time I was there. I did hear that they have tournaments now too. Canterbury is obv the better choice for poker in MN, but about a 60 min drive away.

    I played there on a trip over the summer. The 2-10 spread was pretty much 10 limit, with 4-5 players seeing a capped flop, and usually 2-3 call to the river. The players were terrible. You just need to be patient (at least when I was there). They have a tournament, but it was only one day a week if I remember right.
