true poker?

    Did a search for this and found nothing. Got an email about a rakeback deal for this site, but never heard of it. Anyone know anything about it?

    Use to play on True Poker about 5-6 years ago when they seemed like they were interested in growing, like into a popular pokersite, ....but every-time I check-in to see if they are increasing in numbers.....they are down around 1k-2k in players :/ I guess they have bad management?

    At the time they had the most real feeling software around, like 3D and all, but I don't think they kept up the software with the multi-tabling boom.

    Don't know much about their rakeback either.

    True is run by some online sportsbook guys in CR. I think they bought it a few years ago. I met with them at one point and they seem nice and well-intentioned but I think they are making way too much from the sportsbook to pay much attention to poker. It's a tougher market for them.

    FWIW, I played on True at one point and I liked the site. This was like 2005 though.
